After an inspiring three years studying Fashion Promotion with Imagery at University for the Creative Arts, I have worked and trained in the field of photography, styling and graphic design. Always working on both professional, personal and educational creative projects.
I have extensive knowledge of the creative industry which can be attributed to the degree I have just completed, the several internships I have undertaken during this time and also my extensive experience working for the NHS. During my studies I have been expanding my professional practices helping me to have an eye for detail and research techniques, allowing me to learn new programmes and different vocations. My final year project was the most exciting for me, having created designed a virtual concept store, including branding, logo and digital and social media marketing strategies which can be seen on my dots profile. My creative background enables me to be resourceful, innovative and creatively problem solve. Throughout my working career and university, I have been able to work collaboratively with numerous diverse, multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Improving my trend research and communication skills whilst always staying up to date current homes design trends. Although working on my own throughout this project I was still able to work with my tutor and fellow students closely through this project to help with my project development. I find teamwork and collaboration to be the most rewarding as I can use these projects as a new learning experience, growing my skill set, idea development and managing techniques from others.
I thrive when working within a busy environment, and I normally work with several projects running simultaneously. I constantly ensure I manage my time efficiently and effectively, I can prioritise tasks whilst maintaining the ability to be flexible and accommodating to other schedules and deadlines. I have worked in several customer facing roles having worked within the NHS for over 6 years within A&E and have expert skills in all forms of communication between customers and colleagues. I am very excited to grow alongside and adapt alongside a flourishing business, I enjoy learning and pick up things extremely quickly, I am very proficient within most adobe programs, several social media platforms alongside basic programmes like word and other web-based applications. Having over 10 years of working experience I work well to deadlines, I have a great attention to detail and can manage my own workload with ease.
